Laurent Louyer, founder of Creatmosphere, has designed a light trail to animate public space revealing an evening walking route. Highlights will include a beautifully illuminated Oak tree in Alexandra Gardens as well as changing colours on Windsor & Eton Bridge. 1 Castle Tower floodlit in white on the 27th of September 2 Graffiti LED motion ceiling in Boots passage 3 Interactive Electroluminescent canopy 4 Four seasons oak tree 5 Tapelite riverlink 6 Light emitting wind turbines (when wind is blowing!) 7 Colour changing Thames bridge The trail will be switched-on nightly from around 7pm for 6 weeks & will conclude with a community project involving local schools on Saturday 8 November. See more of Laurent's work here, Creatmosphere. The project commissioned by Windsor Festival in collaboration with the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, has been funded by Windsor and Eton Town Partnership in conjunction with grants from Culture South East, SEEDA, and Arts Council South East. |
