Tickets for Troops Stakes Monday 16th May

Windsor Race Course Tickets for Troops

The Apprentice serving up stakes for the Troops

If you enjoy this meaty story then hopefully we’ll see you Monday evening at Windsor races or Tuesday for some beginners LinkedIn training at the MacDonald Hotel, or maybe a bite of lunch with our Apprentice.

Social Media Directors first approached Raleigh Addington last October when we were looking for interesting people for our 2020 Social Media event. Unfortunately Raleigh wasn’t able to join us but Dan Harris, the sausage King, was and did a brilliant job of inspiring the 100 strong audience. (see below for video link)

Since then we have pushed out PR stories for Raleigh as he sends them through and the latest press release around “Tickets for Troops Stakes” grabbed my attention as it related to Windsor directly.

Since my preferred communication media is the telephone I instantly called Raleigh and we talked about the race meeting on Monday 16th May and he asked about our “How to use LinkedIn” workshop to be held the following day. He’s been enjoying our newsletters and so knows what we’re getting up to next ;)

Social Media Directors are happy to support Raleigh in his learning as he will then, if we do our job well, spread the word amongst his piers about the quality of our training.

Only slight issue was around accommodation and so we put the word out, we needed help for this hero who is serving our troops…

Within minutes Windsor had rallied around to support us and make it possible for Raleigh to enjoy a “most comfortable” evening, after a great night at Windsor Racecourse, ensuring he will be relaxed and refreshed for an inspiring days LinkedIn training.

Obviously we have advised some of the local media, Carla Delaney will be there representing the Maidenhead Advertiser, Maureen McLean may well be there taking photos for Berkshire Life and once we’ve pushed out this press release others, that could be you, may well be inspired to get down to Windsor Racecourse on Monday evening and join in all the fun… after all it's only £10 a head and kids go free!

You may even be lucky enough to back the winner of the 8:30 Tickets for Troop Stakes ;)

A BIG THANK YOU

to Liz Dax from the MacDonald Windsor Hotel for providing us will a very competitive room rate and to Catherine Sutton of Waterloo Brown for picking up his tab.

Don’t you just love it when a plan comes together… even better when it happens like magic within a few hours of conception!

Thank you.
